AEH is the file extension used by eBooksWriter. The file begins with the letters ALDO which are followed by metadata and finally the raw text from the file interspersed with format data. The data is not compressed.

The program eBooksReader_f_e.exe is supplied with the file to be used to read in on a Windows based PC. The program is typically in the same folder as the file after installation of the file.
