[edit] Maximum battery life

I travel for a living. I put my Kindle to sleep and 2 days later the battery was dead. Do I have to turn the Kindle OFF to prevent discharge, or can I put it to sleep with the wireless turned off?

This is probably not the best place to get answers quickly. That is what the forum is for. I would guess that the keys are getting hit. When you put your device to sleep be sure and disable the keyboard first. --DaleDe 19:38, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
