Flip cases provide protection for the eReader during travel and use. The cover usually flips back on the left side, similar to a normal book, but some may flip over the top. Some covers may not flip all the way back, requiring you to hold the device with two hands while reading.
Additional features which some cases have include stands, integrated lights, stylus holders, and pockets for additional small items.

Sleeves provide protection for a device during travel, not during use.
Ensure that the inside dimensions of a Sleeve are at least the size of the PRS-T1, which are: 110 x 173 x 8.9 mm.

Skins protect and optionally customise a device. They are glued on and provide a tight form-fitting cover to the device, protecting it from scratches and suchlike.
