Overview

The EB-600 is a lightweight, eBook reader. It uses an E-Ink display. The new 2009 model offer 8 levels of grayscale and ADE support for PDF and ePUB. Firmware features include:

  • Turn page -- forward, backward, automatic.
  • Jump to page
  • Progress bar -- display position in the book
  • Font increasing -- increase font size with 8 levels.
  • Bookmark -- add bookmark to a page
  • Zoom -- zoom in/out page
  • Slideshow -- start/stop slideshow
  • Supported image formats: JPG, GIF, PNG, BMP
  • auto shut-off -- on/off
  • Play MP3 - playback MP3 or AAC files
  • WiFi Config -- WiFi connection Status, WPS, IP setting, SSID/WEP/WPA
  • Delete file
  • SUDOKU game included

History

Previous model number for this unit was EB-100 for the Linux version and EB-200 for the WinCE version. In 2009 the unit was revised to support 8-levels of grayscale and revised firmware.
