Hanlin A6

Overview

The A6 looks like a scaled down Hanlin A9. It was shown at CES 2010 **Update New on the Jinke website is the V60 keyboard retail version of the A6 prototype.

Jinke has adopted a naming convention for the new series for different models. A model with t on the end is touch screen version while a k on the end signifies a keyboard (and a touch screen). The standard basic model features a 5 hot keys and a d-pad with a central OK key as well as next/previous page buttons. Some models will support WiFi or 3G wireless operation.

It has not been confirmed, but the expectation is that the firmware will have the same or similar capabilities to read eBooks as the current Hanlin V5. New features are expected to center on hardware differences and features related to the touch screen, including note-taking. A gravitational sensor will permit automatic page rotation.

Price: $265-275 USD
