[edit] connectionMgr

  • Location: /usr/bin/connectionMgr
  • Source: Open
  • Function: Edit, list and connect to network profiles
  • Description: The connectionMgr is invoked e.g. when pressing the iDS button. It will prompt the user with the available network profiles and allows them to connect to one of them. When connecting to a PC, it invokes pcshareMgr, when connecting to iDS it calls downloadMgr to handle downloads.

  • Location: /usr/bin/contentLister
  • Source: Open
  • Function: The Contentlister displays files to the user and launches the viewers and other applications
  • Description: The ContentLister is one of the most important pieces of software on the iLiad. It not only shows files and launches programs, it also handles button presses, creating manifests and the pincode screen.
