[edit] Overview

Read EPUB books in Microsoft Edge: The reading experience will get even better with the Windows 10 Creators Update! In addition to providing a great reading experience for PDF files – you can now read any unprotected e-book in the EPUB file format with Microsoft Edge. When you open an unprotected e-book in Microsoft Edge, you will be taken into a customizable reading experience where you can change the font and text size and choose between 3 themes: light, sepia, and dark. As you read, you can leave bookmarks. To navigate through an e-book, you can use the table of contents or seek bar at the bottom of the browser. And you can also search for words or phrases and use Cortana to define specific words.

This version was released in 2017.

[edit] Internet Explorer

Microsoft IE continues to exist. The following is directly from Microsoft

Internet Explorer 11 is the new browser from Microsoft with improved performance, faster page load times, new standards support for next generation sites, and completely revised F12 developer tools. It includes new capabilities to improve real-world Web site performance, support for the well-defined and commonly used features of the emerging ECMAScript 6 standard, support for WebGL, and high quality, power efficient HTML5 video without plugins.

An interesting feature in IE that is not in other web browsers is that when you select and copy a page it is captured in RTF format which can be pasted into any word processor that understands RTF. This can be used to convert HTML to RTF.
