This unit features a touch screen which must use the included stylus (fingers will not work). This is similar to the Wacom stylus and shuts off when inserted in the slot; however, it is a Hanvon design. Contrast is very good, not impacted by the touch screen. Most operations can also be done via the QWERTY keyboard. Text entry on notes can be done via the keyboard or the stylus. Character recognition is available.

TTS is included. ePUB reader uses Adobe Digital Editions while PDF is handled by Adobe Reader.
