Asus has announced a 9" and two 5.7" devices. The 9" will be the first to ship in March or April 2011.

This product may have shipped to Russia and some countries in Europe in small quantities. SiPix, the screen vendor, went out of business and the assets were purchased by E Ink in late 2012. This unit is still on the web site but no longer in active production.

Asus has equipped the e-book reader with text-to-speech functionality - there's a 3.5mm headphone socket on board too - web browser, handwriting recognition, dictionary and either 3.5G or 802.11g connectivity.
