BOOKEEN made its own pdf reader in several versions, so ...yes, it is possible to read pdf...but pdf comics are not displayed perfectly, colors can be problematic.

History
Cytale was an early French company in the eBook business. They began in 1998. Two of the engineers went on to found their own company Bookeen in 2003 and carry on the Cybook name.

- It does not get hot at all.
- It is not easy to read in a sunny day (that's a problem in Spain), but it is perfect to read in the dark.
- It takes 3 or 4 seconds to go from one jpeg to the next one in the biggest pages using Internet Explorer.
- Can browse the Internet with Internet connection with Compact Flash Wi-Fi card.
