Overview

This is a Spanish company and the focus is for Spanish users. It has ADE support for PDF and ePUB including DRM support. It comes with 350 classic eBooks preloaded.

Hardware is basically the Netronix EB-600 with a few custom features. It is available in 6 colors, Black, silver, red, blue, violet and pink. Software is modified for the Booq.

Firmware upgrade

Features in 2.0 booq OS 2.0 includes new functionalities:

  • Date and time on home screen
  • Favorite book section: choose your favorite books and open them with a single click.
  • Reading history: see what books you have been reading and how much you have read.
  • Your current page number and the total number of pages in the book
  • Adjust to page function: adjusts the size of the text to the size of the screen.
  • Full-screen option
  • Built-in dictionary
  • Change the device name (for example: Peter’s booq)
  • Bookshelf - Graphic GUI with icons.
  • adds: DOC, RTF formats and GIF
