The Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL appeared in Oct 19, 2017. A later version is the Google Pixel 3 family.

Pixel has replaced the name NEXUS. This product has squeeze technology that is used to trigger Google assistant (voice assistance). It is built by HTC and easily fits in one hand.

The Pixel 3 has a 5.5-inch 2160×1080 443ppi OLED display, with sizable straight bezels on the top and bottom of the phone. The Pixel 3 XL has a 6.3-inch 2880×1440 523ppi OLED display with an extremely tall display notch and a large bottom bezel. The front camera is now two lenses for selfies. They both use the 845 CPU. Otherwise this are the same specs as the Pixel 2. They ship with Android 9.0 PIE and the Pixel 2 can be upgraded to Android 9.0.
