LPF

LPF stands for Lightweight Package Format, a file format and processing model for packaging into a single-file container the set of related resources and associated metadata that comprise a digital publication.

The root directory must contain either:
- publication.json, which MUST be in the format defined for Publication Manifests.
- A file named index.html
Neither must not be encrypted. The rest of the content can be in a subfolder or in the main folder and be referenced by the Package in a relative URL.
This is normally a zipped file.
The file can be used for:
- Audio books https://www.w3.org/TR/audiobooks/
- DOM
- HTML
- ISO21320 Document container file.
- JSON-LD
- pub-manifest
- publishing-linking
- URL (Data URI)
