PSP 3000

A Sony Play Station Portable (PSP) can be used as an eBook Reader. It has a 480 x 272 pixel 4.3" screen and can display text and graphics directly using some add on readers or the built in browser. Battery life is 3 to 6 hours. An Extended Life Battery Kit is available for 2000 and 3000 units that includes a 2200 mAh battery which increases use to approximately 8 - 11 hours for games.

A copy of the Mozilla Firefox browser is included in recent firmware updates. This permits viewing books in HTML or TXT.
