- The 360° hinge features dual-torque technology, so the panel is very easy to open, but locks in place when you tap, swipe and pinch on the touchscreen – for wobble-free touch control. The panel senses when you place it upside down for “tent mode”, prompting the image and audio channels to flip over automatically.

There are two versions of this product. The older version is specifically called a 2-in-1 while the new one for 2018 is simply called a Chromebook. The differences are:
- Intel® Celeron® N3150 Quad Core Processor 1.6GHz (no longer available) vs. Intel® Celeron® N3060 Processor 1.6GHz dual core. The newer processor is more power efficient but has less storage.
- 32 GB storage vs. 16 GB storage.
- Model CB5-132T-C1LK vs. CB5-132T-C8ZW
