Adobe Acrobat is a tool designed to edit and generate PDF documents.

Overview

There are multiple products in the Acrobat family:

• Adobe® Acrobat® X Standard software lets you reliably create and share PDF documents. Convert paper documents to searchable PDF files or fillable forms, or combine multiple file types into a single PDF file.

• Adobe® Acrobat® X Pro software lets you deliver professional PDF communications. Create and edit PDF files with rich media included, share information more securely, and gather feedback more efficiently. The latest versions can now export PDF to other formats, most notably Microsoft Office files. MS Word is likely the most important one for eBooks.

• Adobe® Acrobat® X Suite software, for business professionals, combines Acrobat X Pro and Adobe Photoshop® CS5 with rich media applications. Create exceptional PDF experiences, including presentations, proposals, and training materials.

• Adobe Acrobat Reader X is a free reading application for PDF files.
