The new iPad for 2020 replaces the 2019 version. It replaces the A10 Fusion chip on the iPad 2019 with a faster A12 bionic chip Neural Engine for 40% performance improvement. This page covers both. For an earlier unit see iPad 2018. For a later version see iPad 2021.
