Front light not dependent on glass overlay.
Having a glass overlay permits a __front light and a__ more sensitive touchscreen.
The front light is not dependent on the glass overlay. I broke the overlay on my Onyx Boox Note Pro, removed it and although the touchscreen doesn't work anymore, the frontlight does.
