Talk:GuteBook Ebooks
I would suggest that the contents of post one in the forum be included on this page and all references be to other wiki documents if possible. The link to the forum should be included for discussion. --DaleDe 15:35, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
Dale, I agree that GuteBook should (and will) have it's own wiki page with its link to the forum post and related files/links; that is still to be done.
What I wanted to do with these pages is start a conversion effort that anyone could contribute ebooks to (that they created/tweaked) and perhaps improve on previous offerings. This can't be done in the EBook Uploads forum, since only the initial/original poster of a thread has rights to add/delete files. This wiki is a good place for a community effort so I wanted to see how easy/efficient this setup could become. If the experiment fails, I'll just delete these pages.
This section would be soley for the User Contributed PG (and soon perhaps PG Australia) Ebooks as created by anyone using GuteBook or hand-tweaking.
What are your thoughts about this focused use of this page and how they link to the actual ebooks users will upload here (instead of linking to the main forum as I've done with the first entry). nrapallo 16:49, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
Dale, can a .zip under 2MB be uploaded here? I just got this error "Files of the MIME type "application/zip" are not allowed to be uploaded."
Can we allow .mobi, .epub, .lit, .imp, .rb, and .pdb under 2MB to also be uploaded now as well? nrapallo 19:45, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
