Sony DPT-RP1
The DPT-RP1, an updated version of the Sony DPT-S1, features a 13.3-inch “non-slip” display sporting a resolution of 1,650 x 2,200 that comes with a stylus.

Sony calls is latest device Digital Paper. You can write on a surface that looks and feels just like paper with frictionless pen tracking for responsive writing. You can annotate, erase, and highlight PDF files.
The Sony DPT-RP1 E Ink tablet comes with a stylus pen that can magnetically clip to the side of the tablet.
The new E Ink tablet sports a thickness of roughly a stack of 30 pages of paper. The new Sony DPT-RP1 is also said to be thinner, lighter, and faster than previous generation Sony DPT-S1. It can view Letter and A4 documents (see Paper sizes) at full size minus the margins. Has dual page view for open book viewing and can compare two documents. Dual page view can also be used to take notes.
The unit and files can be password protected using data encryption AES 128.

[edit] Digital Paper App
The Digital Paper App (DPA) enables you to connect DPT-RP1 to your computer so you can easily manage the files and folders on your Digital Paper. With DPA, you can view, transfer and rename documents as well as change device settings - all from your Windows PC or Mac computer.
Sync can be accomplished with USB port, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi. E-mail is not supported. The app does support cloud services.
Note that no other operating systems, such as Linux, are supported. There is no way to transfer files to the device other than via the app. Thus the device is useless without Windows or Mac OS X.

Enjoy a natural writing experience for your Digital Paper with this specially designed stylus. Compatible with the DPT-RP1 model, it comes with three replacement tips and a tip puller for easy removal. There are tips for either a pencil or pen like experience.
