Overview
Kindle Oasis tapers to an ultrathin 3.4mm display featuring our strongest cover glass and a sleek, anodized aluminum back. The big change this time is the larger 7-inch screen, which can hold 30 percent more text than before. It still packs in a sharp 300ppi resolution, and includes 12 LEDs frontlight for uniform lighting with adaptive light sensor. It is also waterproof and has a longer battery life of 6 weeks. It has a touchscreen plus page turn buttons and a reversible white on black screen setting.
It’s now easy to export notes and highlights from a book to your e-mail, so you can always have them on-hand for reference. Receive your notes both as an easily printable PDF, and as a simple file you can open in your favorite spreadsheet app.
Two standing cases are available accessories and a charger.

- Battery Life: A single charge lasts up to six weeks, based on a half hour of reading per day with wireless and Bluetooth off and the light setting at 10. Battery life will vary based on light settings, wireless usage. Audible audiobook streaming over Bluetooth will reduce battery life.
