RK2706B

This is a CPU multi-media (PMP) chip from Rockchip, a company from China. It is based on an earlier MP4 implementation called the RK2706. It addresses several issues with the earlier chip. The RK2706B is an enhanced master decoder chip, with the powerful and flexible ARM + DSP dual-core processors.

The RK2706B main chip has greatly improved the performance of video decoding to solve the problem RMVB blocks of color and fluency is also higher. It also features better power management and much improved battery life.

It has been featured on a number of basic eBook Readers and has drivers for E Ink displays.
