Windows 10 S - Windows 10 S is a specific configuration of Windows 10 Pro that offers a familiar, productive Windows experience that’s streamlined for security and performance. By exclusively using apps in the Windows Store and ensuring that you browse safely with Microsoft Edge, Windows 10 S keeps you running fast and secure day in and day out.

• Uses Windows 10 S, but if you prefer to run non-Store apps, you can easily switch to Windows 10 Pro for free until Dec 31, 2017.
• Introductory offer: Includes 1 year of Office 365 Personal.

This is the Microsoft offer to provide a secure environment. It is similar to the idea in Chrome OS that is used on Chromebooks to control security with a limited application support and control of the browser with heavy connection of the OS directly to the company. (You can use other browsers but cannot make them the default one.)
