Overview

Features a touch screen (Wacom) and specialized custom support for Newspapers via NewspaperDirect. Has adjustable text size and portrait as well as landscape orientation.

This 8.1" reader is a member of a new line from iRex called the IRex Digital Reader which also includes a 10" reader.

History

This unit was preceded by the iRex iLiad and the iRex Digital Reader 1000. It is no longer being sold as a consumer product but is being used in the business market. For example the SolidFX FX8 product is sold to the aviation industry as a navigation charting device.
