Founded by a group of well-experienced networking experts in Jun. 1997 with capital of US$8,600,000 and headquartered in Hsinchu/Taiwan., Netronix provides network and multimedia applications for customer's various demands including:
Ethernet applications from Ethernet Switch, Gigabit Switch, Web-smart Switch to SNMP managed switch that fits the needs from Home and SOHO network, small and medium business to government and enterprises.
- Wireless products including wireless adapters, AP, routers, and along with some wireless peripherals.
- NAS (Network Attached Storage) products that provide networking data backup and sharing mechanism.
- Multimedia products, including PVR (Personal Video Recorder), Cameras, and PoE compliant products for various demands.

- EB-600 (Linux based) - The original version of this model was the EB-100.
- EB-610 (WinCE based)
- EB-611 (adds Wi-Fi) - new name is Cookie for advanced model.
- EB-900 (WinCE). - the larger e-Ink display of 9.7" diagonal.

Netronix is an OEM so it is unlikely to see an end user product with their name on it.
- The EB-600 has hardware that is identical to the Bookeen Cybook Gen3 although the firmware is certainly different.
